The proposal is one moment you can’t do twice, so it makes sense to know what you’re paying for before you book someone to film it. Here are our real prices, what each one includes, and the few things that actually move the number up or down.
The short answer
At La La Vows, proposal packages cost $850, $950 or $1150. Every package includes a photographer with 20 edited photos, plus a crew of 2 shooters with 2 cameras and a drone. The difference between them is how long we film, whether we record sound, how long your film is and how fast you get it.

What changes the price
How long we film
Basic covers 45–60 minutes, which is enough for the walk-up, the question and the first reactions. Standard gives you 60–80 minutes, so we also film extra scenes after the yes. Premium covers 80–120 minutes and adds interviews before and after the proposal, on the same day or the day before.
Whether you can hear it
This is the difference people notice most when they watch their film. Basic is set to music without microphones. Standard adds hidden mics, so you can hear what you said and what they said back. Premium uses hidden mics for the proposal and for the interviews, including guests if you have them there.
How long your film is
Basic is a film of up to one minute, Standard is 1–2 minutes, and Premium is a 3–4 minute cinematic film plus a one-minute highlight that is easy to share.
How fast you get it
Basic and Standard are delivered in about 10–14 business days. Premium gets priority delivery in about 7–10 business days. If you need it sooner, Premium is the fastest option.

- Basic ($850) if you want a short, beautiful film of the moment set to music, plus photos.
- Standard ($950) if hearing the words matters to you. For most couples, this is the one.
- Premium ($1150) if you want the whole story: how you felt before, the proposal, the reactions after, a longer film and faster delivery.
Questions to ask any proposal videographer
Whoever you book, these four questions tell you most of what you need to know about the price:
- Are photos included, or is that a separate booking?
- Will you record sound, and how?
- How many cameras, and is there a drone?
- How long will the film be, and when will we get it?
